AM Session – Aviation

Aviation – Morning Session
9am – 12pm
Prerequisites: The Aviation Merit Badge includes a trip to the airport and the MB Counselor for this course will also offer flights to complete the requirement.
This will happen in the Spring when the weather is more suitable.
– Read the Aviation Merit Badge Book (pamphlet) and print out the Aviation Merit Badge Worksheet
– Complete the requirements below on the Aviation Berit Badge Workbook
○ Come prepared with completed worksheets, and be able to discuss as a group (#5)
5. Find out about three career opportunities in aviation. Pick one and find out the education, training, and the experience required for this profession. Discuss this with your counselor, and explain why this profession might interest you. (Be prepared to discuss with the group & MB counselor the professions you select.)
